США признали, что дроны и ракеты запущены из Ирана

The United States has identified the exact locations in Iran from which a combination of more than 20 drones and cruise missiles were launched against Saudi oil facilities over the weekend, a senior U.S. official told CBS News national security correspondent David Martin on Tuesday. The official said the locations are in southern Iran, at the northern end of the Persian Gulf.

One theory gaining traction among American officials is that the cruise missiles were launched from Iran and programmed to fly around the northern Persian Gulf through Iraqi air space instead of directly across the gulf where the United States has much better surveillance, one senior official said. In the hours before the attacks, American intelligence detected unusual activity at military bases in southwest Iran that would be consistent with preparations for strikes, another senior American official said.

В этом случае американцы немного путаются в показаниях. Вначале они утверждали, что следы попаданий смотрят в направлении Ирана. Теперь же оказывается, что попадания смотрят в сторону Йемена, просто ракеты летели в обход. smile
